Editorial Policy
How 611Pract reviews knot tutorials, corrections, safety notes, and image concerns.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
611Pract publishes educational knot-tying guides for general learning. Our editorial work focuses on practical clarity, safe framing, and transparent correction of errors.
Content Standards
Each guide should explain what a knot is used for, how to tie it, and where caution is required. We avoid presenting any knot as universally safe because rope performance depends on material, diameter, condition, load direction, surface friction, movement, and the user's training.
Safety Review
Instructions involving climbing, rescue, boating, towing, lifting, or load-bearing use are educational only. Readers should seek qualified instruction and inspect equipment before relying on any knot in a hazardous environment.
Images
Images are reviewed for relevance to the knot or technique shown. If an image is incorrect, unclear, duplicated in a misleading way, or raises a rights concern, we will replace or remove it after review.
Corrections
We welcome corrections. Send the page URL, the sentence or image at issue, and a short explanation to [email protected]. We prioritize corrections that affect safety, accuracy, image rights, or user understanding.
Advertising Independence
Advertising does not determine the content of our tutorials. Ads, if present, should not be placed in a way that hides instructions, imitates navigation, or encourages accidental clicks.
