Description
A decorative and functional stopper knot that is bulkier than a double overhand. The rope is formed into a wall knot by passing each strand through the loop formed by the next.
Common Uses
Decorative stopper knot, end of a rope where a large and attractive stopper is desired.
How to Tie
- 1Form a loop in the rope near the end.
- 2Pass the working end through the loop and around behind the standing part.
- 3Pass the working end through the loop again, beside the first pass.
- 4Dress carefully so the strands form a uniform, crown-like pattern. Tighten gradually.
