Surgeon's Loop

Description
A simple, strong loop tied in the end of a fishing line using a doubled line. Essentially a surgeon's knot tied with a loop left at the end.
Common Uses
Creating a fixed loop at the end of fishing leader for attaching hooks or lures loop-to-loop.
How to Tie
- 1Double the line to form a loop of the desired size.
- 2Tie a simple overhand knot with the doubled line.
- 3Pass the loop through the knot one more time (making it a surgeon's knot).
- 4Moisten and tighten by pulling both the loop and the standing end.
