Wall Knot

Description
A decorative knot formed by passing each strand of a multi-strand rope through the bight of the next strand. Often used as the base for a crown knot or manrope knot.
Common Uses
Base for decorative end knots on multi-strand rope; beginning of a manrope knot.
How to Tie
- 1Unlay the strands of the rope and arrange them evenly.
- 2Take one strand and form a bight. Pass the next strand through this bight.
- 3Pass the third strand through the second's bight.
- 4Pass the first strand through the third's bight to complete the circle.
- 5Pull all strands to tighten evenly.
