Rolling Hitch

How to Tie
- 1Wrap the working end around the pole or standing part twice, working toward the direction of pull.
- 2Make a third wrap above the first two, crossing over the standing part.
- 3Pass the working end under the third wrap.
- 4Pull to tighten. The knot will grip when pulled in one direction.

- Tying around an object that is too smooth, tapered, or unstable.
- Loading the hitch before the wraps are snug and aligned.
