Zeppelin Bend
Also known as:Rosendahl Bend

Description
A secure, symmetrical bend known for being easy to untie even after heavy loading. Two interlocking loops form a compact knot that resists jamming.
Common Uses
Joining two ropes of equal or similar diameter where easy untying after loading is important.
How to Tie
- 1Form a loop in each rope end, with the working ends on opposite sides.
- 2Cross the two loops so one working end goes over the other.
- 3Pass each working end through the other's loop from underneath.
- 4Pull all four ends to tighten. The knot should sit flat and compact.
