Englishman's Loop

Description
A simple fixed end loop formed by tying a figure-eight follow-through. The working end is passed through a figure eight and then follows the same path back, creating a secure end loop.
Common Uses
General purpose fixed end loop where a bulletproof, easy-to-inspect knot is needed.
How to Tie
- 1Tie a loose Figure Eight knot near the end of the rope.
- 2Pass the working end through the loop of the Figure Eight, following the original path in reverse.
- 3Ensure the working end runs parallel to the original rope, with no twists.
- 4Pull the standing end and the loop to tighten.
