Description

A strong and compact loop at the end of a line, popular in fly fishing and general use. Two interlocking loops are formed and the tag end is passed between them to lock the knot.

Common Uses

How to Tie

  1. 1Form a loop in the standing part near the end.
  2. 2Form a second loop beside the first, with the tag end passing behind the standing part.
  3. 3Bring the tag end back between the two loops.
  4. 4Pull the tag end and the standing end to dress the knot. The loops collapse into a V-shape.
