Farmer's Loop
Also known as:Tarp Line Loop, Lineman's Loop

Description
A simple, quick mid-line loop formed by tying an overhand knot in a bight. Not as strong as an Alpine Butterfly but faster to tie and adequate for light loads.
Common Uses
Quick mid-line loop for tarps, tent lines, and light-duty applications where speed is preferred over strength.
How to Tie
- 1Form a bight (fold) in the rope at the desired loop location.
- 2Tie an overhand knot using the bight as a single strand.
- 3Pull the bight through to form the loop.
- 4Tighten by pulling both standing ends away from the loop.
